The Zhytomyr region in Ukraine has seen significant developments in both agriculture and industry over the past 30 years, with total investments exceeding $330 million. The region has distributed 1 million 100 thousand hectares of agricultural land and has seen a shift in production from livestock to crops, with grain farming being the basis of food security. The region also leads in hop production and is expanding its fruit and berry production. Despite a decline in the number of cattle, cow productivity has increased, and the region is home to some of the most modern farms in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
