Russia: The Republic of Bashkortostan increased flour exports threefold

Since the beginning of 2023, flour milling enterprises in Bashkiria have increased the supply of their products for export by almost 300%. Over the 11 months of this year, 173 shipments of wheat and rye flour were shipped to countries near and far abroad, the Customs Union, the CIS, and former union republics under the control of Rosselkhoznadzor. The total volume of grain processing products sold abroad amounted to 9218.2 tons. Not only the volumes of shipped products have increased, but also the geography of deliveries. A large shipment of flour was shipped to Afghanistan for the first time. Before shipment to foreign contractors, all batches of regulated products were inspected and cleared by specialists from the plant quarantine department of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Republic of Bashkortostan.
