The second year the Grain Advisory Council does not meet – unclear why

For the second year, the Consultative Council on Grain under the Ministry of Agriculture, which usually met at the end of each harvest, inexplicably did not convene, despite the need for a fundamental change in sector policies in light of the relentless climate change. At this council, farmers, processors, bakers, traders, representatives of commodity exchanges, and the administration usually engaged in dialogue to address pressing issues. And because the spring crops this year, for the umpteenth time, were scorched under the hot rays of the sun, the leadership of the National Association of Grain Producers repeatedly requested the Minister of Agriculture to schedule the council.
