The Rural Development Administration in Korea has launched a special team to provide on-site technical support to 20 farms struggling with the cultivation of subtropical vegetables. The team, comprised of experts in cultivation, soil/fertilizer, and pest control, has developed a customized support program for 17 crops, including Indian spinach and green beans. The program includes advice on seedling technology, soil and water management, and eco-friendly pest control methods. The initiative has received high satisfaction from farmers, leading to a 32% increase in productivity. The team is also planning to register necessary pesticides for pest control and continue providing technical support to ensure future success.
