The Volgograd region has seen a doubling of its agricultural exports in the first five months of 2021 compared to the same period last year, reaching approximately 260 thousand tons of grain. These exports, valued at $112 million, are popular in Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Eastern Europe. The region has also seen an increase in the export of fat and oil products, exceeding $21 million. The launch of a deep corn processing enterprise has contributed to this increase. Additionally, the region is looking to expand into the Chinese market and expects to export baby food products worth over $15 million this year, a significant increase from the previous year.
