In South Sinai, Dr. Mohamed Shata, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, has announced the creation of a new unit dedicated to producing Azolla fodder, following a successful pilot project in collaboration with the Desert Research Center. This initiative aims to boost Azolla cultivation within the region, offering it at lower prices to benefit farmers and citizens, due to its high nutritional value for livestock.
