The State Consumer Service of Ukraine and the National Agency for Sanitary Surveillance of Food Products and Veterinary Medicines of Romania have signed a bilateral Cooperation Protocol. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian agency. As noted, the signed document outlines the key areas of further interaction between the competent authorities of the two countries, including: protection of animal health and welfare; ensuring the safety of food products; control and prevention of cross-border diseases; strengthening biosecurity and epidemiological surveillance; development of border control of products of animal origin; digitization and data exchange through European information systems (IMSOC/TRACES, RASFF, ADIS, and others).
