The strong German potato demand could still be met

Although the availability of early potatoes increased, the supply could only generate limited interest due to the high prices. Meanwhile, German products dominated the market and consistently convinced in quality. According to the BLE, the imports from France, the Netherlands and Italy were only of a supplementary nature. Demand was met effortlessly and prices tended to remain constant. The demand for organic potatoes was lower in October for the second month in a row than in the same month last year.
