The State Fund "Agriculture" (SFA) paid over 58 million leva (58,435,036 leva) to 2,380 agricultural producers who applied for support under the "Organic Farming" intervention for Campaign 2025. The financial support was authorized for the two operations – "Payments for maintaining organic farming" (OF) and "Payments for transitioning to organic farming" (TOF). The rates at which the subsidies were paid are specified in Ordinance No. 9 of 2023 on the conditions and procedures for implementing the "Organic Farming" and "Organic Beekeeping" interventions, included in the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas for the period 2023-2027. Under the "Organic Farming" intervention, funding is provided to agricultural producers who are registered in accordance with national legislation and have a contract with a controlling body.
