Exporting 2,200 tons of salt to Lebanon through the port of El-Arish in Egypt

The Suez Canal Economic Zone announced in a statement issued today, Friday, October 22, 2021, the continuation of salt export operations to foreign markets through the sea port of El-Arish, where the ship “PEARL” coming from Alexandria port and flying the flag of Palo, with a length of 85.8 meters and a draft of 4 meters, was received to ship 2,200 tons of salt to Lebanon. The authority's statement stated that with the arrival of this ship, it is the forty-sixth to enter the port since it began operating last January, and the twenty-fifth of its kind to export salt to the foreign market, bringing the total of salt exported through the port of El-Arish to 106 thousand tons.
