The sunflower in Ukraine continues to gradually increase in price.

Over the past week, the sunflower market in Ukraine has maintained its upward trend in prices, largely aided by strong competition among processing companies for the available supply, according to observations by analysts at the online publication APK-Inform. The purchase prices for the oilseed crop have risen to 28,400 – 29,500 hryvnias ($673.47–687.70) per ton with delivery to the factory. Meanwhile, companies focused more on processing soybeans or rapeseed offered significantly less for sunflowers – 27,500 – 27,700 hryvnias per ton.
