By Flávia Said Brasília, 04/12/2025 - The Brazilian trade balance registered a trade surplus of US$ 5.842 billion in November 2025, following a positive balance of US$ 6.964 billion in October. According to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (Secex/MDIC) released recently, the value was achieved with exports of US$ 28.515 billion and imports of US$ 22.673 billion. The result for last month came above the median indicated in the Broadcast Projections survey, of a trade surplus of US$ 5.539 billion in November. The projections for this reading varied from US$ 4.6 billion to US$ 7.010 billion. In November, exports registered a 2.4% increase compared to the same month in 2024, with a 25.8% growth in Agro-business, which totaled US$ 1.16 billion; a 14% decrease in Extractive Industry, which reached US$ 1.06 billion; and, finally, a 3.7% growth in Manufacturing Industry, which reached US$ 570 million.
