The Union of Grain Exporters and Producers in Russia predicts that the country's grain export potential could reach approximately 45 million tons, including 40 million tons of wheat, by 2025 under optimistic conditions. The first half of 2025 might be limited by a quota of 10.6 million tons. There is a probable allocation of 0.5 million tons for corn exports from the Far East. The union also anticipates that the 2025 harvest could exceed 130 million tons of grain, including 85 million tons of wheat, depending on the spring growing season. The demand from the main importers of Russian grain, particularly in the MENA region, remains stable with strong Russian positions in the Egyptian and Algerian markets, and growing prospects for Africa as an export destination.
