According to the latest documents, the USDA has added the purchase of 1,800 cases (each case containing 20 packs × 2 pounds) of frozen Atlantic pollock fillets, as well as 114,000 pounds (each pack containing 20 packs × 2 pounds) of frozen Alaskan pollock fillets. Adding this to the previously planned purchase of 960,000 pounds of pollock products, the total quantity has exceeded 1 million pounds. At the same time, the Department of Agriculture has also added 608,000 pounds of raw, breaded catfish fillets, bringing the total purchase of catfish products to over 2 million pounds.
