The project “People, Nature, and Spices Partnership” (PENS – People, Nature, and Spices Partnership in English) financed by the Food for Progress Program (FFPr – Food for Progress in English) of the USDA will initially be developed in Arequipa, Moquegua , Tacna and Junín, and later in Piura, Lambayeque, San Martín and Cusco. PENS will benefit more than 12,000 farmers, 15 processors and 90 Peruvian producer organizations over a four-year period.
