Between January and May 2024, the exports of avocados from Andalusia, Spain, saw a 9.8% increase in value and an 11.9% increase in volume compared to the previous year. The total value of these exports made up 2.4% of Andalusia's total exports and 82.4% of Spain's avocado exports. The provinces of Granada and Malaga were responsible for 97.5% and 92.5% of Andalusia's avocado production, respectively. France, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, and Denmark were the main importers for the province of Granada, while France, the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, and Austria were the main importers for Malaga.
