Ukraine: The volume of grain exports in the new marketing year has been announced

For the first time since the beginning of the current marketing year, corn exports exceeded wheat shipments and amounted to more than 13.6 million tons. This was reported by the information and analytical portal of the AIC of Ukraine of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture with reference to the state customs service, writes agronews.ua. As of January 25, 31.699 million tons of grain were shipped from Ukraine to foreign buyers since the beginning of the current marketing year. At the same time, for the first time since the beginning of the season, the volume of corn exports exceeded the export of wheat. Thus, structurally exported today: - corn - 13.615 million tons (5.037 million tons less than last year); - wheat - 13.603 million tons (2.747 million tons less); - barley - 3.956 million tons (30 thousand tons less); - rye - 1.7 thousand tons (3.3 thousand tons less).
