The national market price of edible agricultural products in China fell by 0.4% last week, with some changes in the prices of production materials and agricultural products. Grain and oil prices were generally stable, while the wholesale prices of rapeseed oil, soybean oil, and peanut oil increased slightly. The wholesale price of rice fell by 0.2%, meat prices also saw a decrease, with the exception of eggs which rose by 1.8%. The price of aquatic products and most vegetables also decreased. The National Bureau of Statistics anticipates that pork prices will remain stable due to increased stock and seasonal factors, with an overall decrease in pork consumption expected in the fourth quarter.
