(Yeoju=Yonhap News) Reporter U-seong Lee = Gyeonggi Province's Yeoju City announced on the 21st that it will hold the '2025 Yeoju Five Grains Ferry Festival' from the 31st of this month to the 2nd of next month at the Sinryeok Temple tourist area.
The Five Grains Ferry Festival is a celebration that recreates the old ferry landing of Yeoju, which was known for its clear waters and fertile land, and used to present various agricultural products to the king.
The festival will feature food made from local agricultural products such as Yeoju rice and sweet potatoes, along with a variety of experiential events.
The festival site will consist of the Ferry Plaza, Five Grains Plaza, and Feast Plaza.
Every night during the three-day festival, a light show will be held.
Events such as the Namhan River Media Lighting Show (31st), Firework Display (1st), and Ferry Flying Show (2nd) will decorate the autumn nights.
The popular events from previous years, such as the 'Yeoju Rice and Five Grains Bibimbap Eating Contest' and the 'Gungoguma Guinness' performance, will also take place this year.
