In the Çarşamba district of Samsun, the project "Digital Monitoring in Organic Hazelnut Orchards and Truffle Mushroom Integration" aims to achieve both an increase in hazelnut yield and an improvement in soil quality. The opening meeting, held in the Çarşamba Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO) Meeting Hall, was coordinated by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and supported by the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP). The project is being carried out by the Çarşamba TSO with academic contributions from Ondokuz Mayıs University.
