Agricultural enterprises that grew barley this season found themselves in the black as prices for the crop are rising, reported the general director of the Institute of Agrarian Market Trends, Dmitry Rylko, during the Voronezh Entrepreneurs' Forum. "This season, those who grew barley are in the black — prices for this crop are rising, and the returns from it are good," Rylko is quoted as saying by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta." According to the expert, enterprises that grew soybeans can be called "losers" because, due to a record harvest, prices for it have fallen. According to estimates by IKAR, in the regions of the Central Federal District, soybean production this year will amount to 4.6 million tons, which is 1 million tons more than last year.
