The article reports on the commencement of the clove harvest in Denizli, Turkey, with the crop selected for export and sale. The production, spread across 15 decares of land in Acıpayam and Çameli districts, started in February and involves a painstaking process of bud selection, extraction, and cleaning. The cloves are then bundled and sold, with some also being planted in the winter for a subsequent harvest. The plastic greenhouses used for cultivation are expected to ensure successful outcomes both in winter and spring. The quality of the carnations is aimed at meeting both domestic and foreign market standards, particularly the Netherlands, with farmers entering into contractual agreements with buyers for the export of these carnations.
