A new Digital Platform and Agricultural Development project, named AgroJunín, has been launched in Peru's Junín region to enhance the agricultural sector through improved production, marketing, and income. This initiative aims to provide crucial information such as sales prices, marketing opportunities, input costs, and weather data to micro, small, and medium-sized farmers, focusing on five products: coffee, potatoes, corn, maca, and cow's milk. Developed by the Planning and Management SAC entity, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) and other sector institutions, the project provides a comprehensive suite of information and communication services, advice, facilitation, and training to support farmers' success. A seminar is scheduled for December 3 to present the project's conceptual framework and operational strategies.
