A sulfurization and drying facility in Malatya, Turkey, has started the first batches of orange, lemon, and banana dried products, as part of a project aimed at providing a hygienic and climate-independent production environment throughout the year. The facility, established with grant support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, is located in the Şahnahan District of Yeşilyurt and provides non-profit services to producers, focusing on fruits and vegetables with a short shelf life. The dried products increase their added value and extend shelf life. The facility is expected to continue drying seasonal fruits and potentially sell the products domestically and internationally.
