The Government advanced with the flexibilization of bovine leather exports by repealing a resolution that regulated rights over this activity. The decision was formalized with the publication of Resolution 537/1992 in the Official Gazette, which nullified a prohibition established more than three decades ago and directly affects exporters and producers in the agro-industrial sector. This measure by the Ministry of Economy, signed by Luis Caputo, responds to a deregulation process driven by Javier Milei's administration. In fact, the Executive recently advanced a reduction in agricultural product export taxes. The official document indicates that the resolution and its modifications are "contrary to the objectives set by the National Government and abstract in their implementation given the elimination of export rights for bovine leathers".
