The October report from the Regional Consortium for Agricultural Experimentation (CREA) forecasts a 3.7-3.8% increase in Argentina's dairy production in 2021 compared to 2020, with the first seven months of the year showing an outstanding growth in raw milk production. Despite the high production, no major climatic events are expected to affect individual animal production. However, the report highlights a concern regarding the decrease in the price paid to producers despite increasing costs. Argentina sees the highest year-on-year increase in producer price (+ 32%), followed by New Zealand, Uruguay, and Brazil, while the EU experienced the smallest increase (+ 8%). The stability in the official dollar in Argentina throughout 2021 also contributed to this increase.
