The Huancavelica Technical Unit of the Technological Institute of Production (ITP) marks a milestone in the development of national aquaculture by initiating an innovative biotechnological project aimed at strengthening the sustainable production of rainbow trout in the Ayacucho and Huancavelica regions. Having won the competitive fund CdD-FEST, the Huancavelica Technical Unit (UT) will launch the project "Biotechnological innovation in triploidization and standardization for the sustainable production of monosex rainbow trout fry," whose technical execution will develop during 2026. This initiative aims to improve the competitiveness of the aquaculture sector, directly benefiting local producers and contributing to the productive sovereignty of the country.
