They seek to add value to maca in Junín

With the aim of adding value to maca production, the Association of Maca Producers and Processors of the Junín region (Aprotmacarj), the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the National University of Central Peru and the Junín Agrarian Agency have signed a interinstitutional cooperation agreement to carry out various actions. The main objective of the agreement is to promote production in a sustainable manner, adding value to the raw material and thus generating better income for producers in the province of Junín. Among the most notable agreements, the Junín Agrarian Agency will provide advice to the producer to comply with the standards required by the market and will promote the insertion of value-added products.
