They sow 30 thousand baby tilapia in nine aquaculture farms in the state of Michoacán, Mexico

SADER PRESS RELEASE. At the national level, in terms of aquaculture, the volume of mojarra-tilapia production in 2020 was 72 thousand 595.96 tons with a value of two thousand 66.43 million pesos. Of the 29 states with cultivation of this marine species, the state of Chiapas tops the list with a production of almost 31 thousand tons of product. So far in 2021, the preliminary production figure is 15,958, more than 10,000 tons belong to aquaculture and the rest to capture in fresh water. Tilapia fish are a great source of vitamins and proteins that help the skin and support the nervous system, in addition to strengthening the bones; it is especially recommended during pregnancy.
