In Belarus, the spring sowing campaign has commenced with agricultural producers in the Brest, Minsk, and Grodno regions beginning to plant corn across 3.3 thousand hectares, which is 0.3% of the planned area. So far, 546.5 thousand hectares have been sown with spring crops, achieving 23.6% of the target. This includes over 435 thousand hectares of early spring grain and leguminous crops (73% of the plan), as well as significant areas of spring rapeseed, sugar beets, annual grasses, and flax. Additionally, soil preparation for these early spring crops is 31.7% complete, with 732.7 thousand hectares ready for planting.
