Bulgaria: They support freshwater fish producers with BGN 1 million de minimis

The Management Board of the State Fund for Agriculture (SFA) has decided to provide de minimis aid for 2022 to freshwater fish producers in the amount of BGN 1 million, the paying agency said. The aid is at the request of the industry in order to support freshwater fish producers due to the significant increase in the price of feed used in fish farming this year. The support will be used to cover part of the increased costs for the purchase of feed to feed freshwater fish species: carp (silver carp, grass carp, catfish), sturgeon and trout.
