This Monday begins the provisional application of the new sustainable fishing agreement between the EU and Mauritania

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, has valued very positively that the provisional application of the new sustainable fishing agreement between the European Union and Mauritania begins today, after the expiration of the previous one, since it guarantees the continuity of the fleet Spanish in the Mauritanian fishing ground, especially in Andalusia, Galicia, the Canary Islands and the Basque Country. The Council of Ministers of the EU has agreed this Monday the provisional application of the same to avoid the interruption of the activity of the fleet in the fishing ground. The agreement must be ratified in the coming months by the European Parliament.
