DP World Evyap Gulf Port has hosted the service of FM1 (Far East–Mediterranean Service 1) of Wan Hai Lines, one of the leading names in Asian shipping. This line, which directly connects the Far East to Eastern Marmara, aims to significantly shorten route times in the region, facilitating faster and more efficient trade. Known as FM1, this service will provide direct shipping links between China, Southeast Asia, and ports in the Eastern Mediterranean and Marmara via the Suez Canal, offering faster transit times on these routes. The first ship under the line, Wan Hai 513, made its inaugural visit to DP World Evyap Gulf Port. The FM1 line is Wan Hai Lines' second route providing direct connections to European ports, and thus holds a strategic position in the company's global network.
