This season, raspberry prices in Ukraine are twice as high as last year

Despite the fact that Ukraine harvested a raspberry crop this year lower than planned, raspberry prices will be, on the contrary, higher than last year. Taras Bashtannyk, president of the Ukrainian Fruit and Vegetable Association, told about this in an interview with SEEDS. "Raspberry harvest, I think, will be lower than last year, given the weather conditions and the obvious shortage of people. And raspberry prices, on the contrary, will be higher than last year, twice, even two and a half times. Of course, there is a certain part of raspberries of the lowest quality - from households, which they currently sell for 35-40 hryvnias. On the other hand, a year ago, the same households, not respecting their labor, sold it for 20 hryvnias.
