The first shipment of Peruvian products, including blueberries, was made from the Chancay Megaport to Shanghai, China, marking a significant achievement for the country's agro-export sector. This event coincided with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum's Leaders Week (APEC Peru 2024). Agrícola Cerro Prieto, a Peruvian agro-industrial company specializing in the production and marketing of agricultural products, particularly blueberries, asparagus, and avocados, played a key role in this achievement. The company operates out of more than 4,500 hectares of land in the north of Peru and is one of the country's main blueberry exporters, with a focus on sustainability and quality.
