Good day on Sunday! It was a week that will be written in our history, but now we are at the comma, after which anything can be written – both expected and unexpected. The government of Rosen Zhelyazkov has resigned, as unthinkable as it seemed two weeks ago. Until a caretaker cabinet is elected, it will continue to work and we will probably transition to the lev being replaced by the euro from January 1st. There is no doubt that even without a parliamentary-elected caretaker Minister's Council, our bank accounts will be converted and we will receive the remainder in euros. We will not have a budget for 2026 until a regular government is formed after the elections, which may be in March next year. Until then, the country will apply the 2025 budget – 1/12 for each month.
