The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) has initiated a beekeeping project in Ethiopia's Sidama region, providing modern beekeeping equipment and 10 modern beehives to impoverished families. The project, in collaboration with Hawasa University, aims to enhance the living standards of farmers and boost honey production from 5 kilograms to 25 kilograms per hive. This initiative is a part of TIKA's development aid strategy, focusing on projects that align with the development strategies of the beneficiary countries.
