The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has closed 10 out of 13 hazelnut purchasing centers in Ordu, Turkey, due to a decrease in demand and a lack of supply. As of December 1, TMO has halted purchases in Akkuş, Çaybaşı, Kumru, Korgan, Kabataş, Çatalpınar, Aybastı, Gölköy, Gülyalı and Ulubey. It will continue purchases in Altınordu, Fatsa, and Ünye until the end of the year.
