The article reports that the harvest season has started in the Almus district of Tokat, which is located 210 kilometers from the sea, with cage fishing activities in the Almus Dam Lake. The farmed salmon are sent to the Black Sea, where they are raised and then exported to countries such as Russia, China, Japan, and several European countries. The target for exports by the end of the year is around 40 tons. The fish are carefully loaded onto trucks and checked for oxygen levels. This activity not only contributes to the local economy but also makes a significant contribution to Turkey's fishing exports.
