Turkey's tomato exports to 52 countries fell by 14.41% to $361.71 million between January 1 and October 31, compared to the same period last year, according to the Turkish Exporters Assembly. Despite the decrease, the Western Mediterranean Exporters Association (BAIB), which includes Antalya, Isparta, and Burdur, accounted for 42.77% of these exports with $154.71 million. Russia, traditionally a major market, has seen a decline due to its increased domestic production and a diversification of Turkey's export markets. These have included Romania, Ukraine, and Bulgaria, with total sales to these countries reaching approximately $173.26 million. Additionally, Poland and Germany have emerged as significant markets, with exports to these countries totaling over $18.65 million.
