In a first for Pagudpud town in Ilocos Norte, local fishermen have reported a significant catch of at least 10 tons of fish, locally known as 'salmon'. This follows an earlier catch of two tons of anchovies in the same area. The local villagers were able to partake in the bounty, securing a share of the seafood for their meals.
