In February 2024, Brazil's total beef exports saw a significant increase of 52% in volume compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 231,163 tons. However, the average price per ton decreased by 12.35%, leading to a revenue growth of only 33%. China continues to be the primary buyer of Brazilian beef, although its share in total exports dropped from 51.4% to 41.6%. Meanwhile, the United States and the United Arab Emirates increased their imports, and Mexico and Algeria emerged as new markets.
