The article reports on the catch data for Russian fishing fleets in various marine basins, highlighting an increase in catch volumes compared to 2023. The Northern Basin saw a significant increase in cod and capelin catches, totaling 408.5 thousand tons. The Western Basin had a catch of 66.3 thousand tons, predominantly sprat and Baltic herring. The Azov-Black Sea basin contributed 29.6 thousand tons, with anchovy making up a notable portion. In total, the Russian fleet has caught 447.45 thousand tons from foreign exclusive economic zones and the open World Ocean. As of November 16, 40 vessels with 20,101 thousand tons of fish products were en route to the Primorsky Krai seaports, with the majority being fresh-frozen pollock, herring, and cod, all intended for the domestic market.
