Total destruction in almonds and cherries of Western Macedonia, changes in the ELGA regulation are requested by the farmers

Adverse weather conditions have caused significant damage to almond, cherry, and apple crops around Lake Vegoritida and in some settlements in Eastern Eordaia. The damage was due to lack of proper fertilization during the flowering period and fruit drop, leading to substantial income losses for farmers who rely heavily on these crops.
