A meeting between the head of Russia's agricultural watchdog, Rosselkhoznadzor, and Brazil's Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply was held in Moscow to discuss the strengthening of agricultural cooperation between the two countries. The talks focused on the significant growth in imports of Brazilian agricultural products, including poultry meat, with a 8.4% increase compared to the previous year. Despite this growth, the import of beef from Brazil has seen a decrease of 2.7 times. The meeting also highlighted the need for the resolution of issues hindering the export of Russian poultry products to Brazil. Both countries expressed a desire to diversify mutual supplies and strengthen economic relations.
