The US Meat Export Federation (USMEF) has launched the third phase of a comprehensive training program for US pork and beef in Colombia. The program, which has received funding from several sources including the Beef Checkoff Program and the National Pork Board, aims to address common operational issues faced by restaurants in Colombia when purchasing and marketing US pork and beef. The training, which has seen 135 participants from 65 companies in Medellin, Bogota, Cartagena, and Cali, is divided into five modules and will conclude in August.
