In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he had a "very good phone call" with Xi, during which the two agreed that "it is important that we communicate frequently." Trump reported that they discussed topics such as the war between Russia and Ukraine, fentanyl, soybeans, and other agricultural products. The American president stated that the two countries reached a "good" agreement, important for American farmers and that "will only get better," highlighting that the bilateral relationship is "extremely strong."
