Tunisia has experienced a significant decrease in fruit exports, with a 41% drop in volume and a 27% drop in value from January to August 18 compared to the same period last year. The total revenue generated during this time was 50.6 billion dinars (4.66 billion euros), a decrease from 70 billion dinars (6.44 billion euros) in the previous year. Watermelons, making up a third of exports, were the primary product and were mainly exported to Italy, France, and Libya. Additionally, peaches, apricots, plums, and almonds were also exported, predominantly to the Libyan market.
