Tunisia increases its olive oil exports

Olimerca.- The international trade in olive oil from Tunisia demonstrates the strength of this sector in recent years. According to the National Observatory of Agriculture, ONAGRI, in its report "Figures of the Month", the value of olive oil exports during the month of November 2022 reached a value of 240.3 million dinars. In this sense, according to African Manager, the general secretary of the Federation of Olive Producers, Mohamed Nasraoui, has indicated that the quantities of olive oil exported represent an increase of 42.1 percent, compared to the same month of the campaign previous 2020/2021. Regarding the evolution of the current campaign, a drop in the production of olives and olive oil has been observed compared to last year.
