A partnership between Turkey's cooperation and coordination agency Tika and the Islamic Youth Cooperation Forum has led to the establishment of an agricultural and aquaculture production unit in Torodi, Niger. The project, spread over 2 hectares, aims to provide employment for 200 women and young people, preventing them from falling into terrorism. The farm will use drip technology for fruit and vegetable production, with plans to cultivate 2,000 moringa trees and 400 fruit trees. It will also include an aquaculture basin and a warehouse for storing fertilizers and animal feed.
